TRAVEL PROJECTS WE HAVE DESIGNED FOR OUR CLIENTS

A Canal Barge Cruise in Burgundy

Four couples, friends, and long-time business associates, one of whom is soon to retire, wanted to celebrate the occasion by having a party where they could indulge their tastes for French wine, cuisine, and culture while not embarrassing themselves on a cruise ship or a river cruise if they were to over-imbibe. We worked with the group to identify a cruise on a canal barge in Burgundy. Not just as “some” of the passengers on an 18-passenger barge but by chartering the entire cruise for themselves. La belle vie!

A Weekend in Florence

A couple, an executive and a consultant, wanted to introduce their teenage son to the excitement of Italy but they did not have the time available for the classic four-region tour of Italy (e.g. Rome, Florence, Venice, and Naples). We worked with them to plan and book a long weekend in Florence including, airfare, hotel, museum access, a walking tour, and restaurant guidance.

An Adventure in Denali

In 2021, three couples, who have traveled together many times, had previously booked a NatGeo cruise to Alaska but wanted to add on a post-cruise vacation to Denali State Park. We researched the logistics of disembarking the ship in Sitka, getting to Anchorage, and picking up the dome train to Denali.  We worked with the group to figure out which of the many adventures that are available in the park they wanted to experience. Because the vacation was planned for 2022 it was too far in advance (from mid-2021) to make reservations, we monitored the dates when the various components of the plan became available to book and secured the reservations.

The Italian and French Riviera, Portugal, Spain, and the Greek Isles

An entrepreneur, located in Singapore, who recently sold his business decided he wanted to cruise in the Mediterranean; but not on just any ship, he wanted the luxury and elegance he had always envisioned such a trip would be. We found the brand new, Evrima, a 298-passenger yacht just being put into service by the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Club. The ship is so elegant, so luxurious, that he booked passage on three cruises, from Rome around the French Riviera, from Lisbon to Barcelona, and around the smaller Greek islands.

A Multi-Generational Family Birthday Celebration in Italy

The matriarch of a family of 14, who is turning 80 in 2023, is taking everyone on a luxury cruise from Monte Carlo to Venice. We worked with the family to select a cruise that met their standards as well as fit the work schedules of everyone. We are coordinating land excursions for the group at the various ports being visited. And, we are working with the matriarch and her husband to enjoy a long weekend on the French Riviera as a pre-cruise vacation.

A 21 Day Dream Vacation in Italy

We are working with two couples to design a 21-day land vacation in Italy. Our role is to help them to identify the “must-see” from the “like to see” and to make sure they have the logistics well defined so that they are not losing time trying to navigate train schedules or car rental procedures. Our third-party partner in Italy will ensure that museum access passes and memorable hotels are booked and ready for them in each city.

A Vacation to Explore Chile, Argentina, the Iguazu Falls, and Rio in Brazil

An entrepreneur with business in South America wants to experience the culture and culinary wonders of the southernmost countries on the continent in 2023. We worked with Kensington Tours to design a 16-day experience in Santiago, Chile; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Rio in Brazil including a helicopter ride over the incredible Iguazu Falls! Private tours of the cities, winery visits, Tango shows, sightseeing, grand and boutique hotels, and world-class restaurants will make this a unique and luxurious vacation for this well-traveled couple.

The Ultimate European Vacation

Working again with Kensington Tours, we have designed a pre-cruise vacation that begins in Switzerland, at one of the top five health spas in Europe, and after a four-day period to unwind and get re-balanced we will fly them to Milan to be picked up and driven to Lake Como for three nights at the legendary Villa D’Este. From there a private car will drive them along the Tuscan coastline southbound, with a lunch stop in Pisa, to an hour north of the port of Rome at Civitavecchia to Porto Ercole and overnight at the 5-Star Hotel Il Pelicano. The following morning, they will arrive at the Ritz-Carlton Evrima to begin their cruise around the Italian and French Riviera.
