Forget the Eiffel Tower. Here’s where the French travel in France

The only area we've not been to in France that is referenced in this great article is Nouvelle Aquitaine but we love Brittany, The French Riviera, and Burgundy.

Paris is........well....Paris......it is amazing, but if you have the opportunity to go beyond the City of Light you will become a francophile by going to these other regions.

I always loved Brittany because the cultural and historical connections to the countries that make up the UK are so strong and the cultural connections to New England will become evident and you will feel right at home. Plus the seafood is incredible.

The French Riviera? OMG. Say no more. (excuse me while put on my sunglasses and a white suit)

Burgundy? OMG. Say no more. (pour me another glass of Montrachet and call me in the morning)

Enjoy.
