ONE-DAY ITINERARY IN FLORENCE
When Jacqui and I design vacations in Italy we are constantly confronted with "how many days should I stay in Florence?" It is really an existential question, not a vacation question. It's about who you are and your most profound reasons for going to Florence in the first place. History, culture, fashion, cuisine, art, architecture, people, etc. all in layers of time. And so, you can spend 3 days (which we usually recommend), or even a week if you have a long trip scheduled. But, for the traveler who doesn't have the time, or perhaps the interest, and wants to see what the fuss is about, a one-day trip is possible, a long one-day to be sure.
