Alaska is HUGE. Bigger than Texas....... by a lot.

 

We like to share this map with clients to try to give them a sense of the scale and to show them that going to Alaska may be a big journey but it takes more than one visit to see everything that may be of interest.

 

The second map illustrates the distance from Anchorage to Denali Park to Fairbanks (which has the best views of the Northern Lights)

 

Our third map will give you a sense of the Inside Passage, a fairly typical set of ports on cruises.

 

Jacqui has been to Alaska 14 times to go on fishing expeditions and on cruises.
