Jacqui has been to Alaska 14 times. She returns each summer with friends from all over the country to fish primarily for halibut and salmon. Her favorite vendor is the Kingfisher Lodge in Sitka, which provides captain services for the boat and is their hotel and all-inclusive host including all meals.

All the fish they catch is prepared for shipment back to the lower 48 and comes off the luggage carousel in these large, heavy boxes which are then raced home and placed in a storage freezer for distribution over many months to friends and family or prepared for meals.
