The Dollar and the Euro

If you don't play in the financial markets or understand the relative value of currencies here is a tip to take advantage of.

 

If you are traveling to Europe in 2023 or 2024 you might want to head to your local bank and buy some Euros. Why? Because the Euro and the dollar are about on par. In effect, Europe is on sale.

 

I can still recall buying china in Harrods in London in 1984 and having it shipped back to the states when the British pound and the dollar were about par. 

 

It's an excellent time to buy what could become "petty cash" for tips and miscellaneous expenses. Say $1,000 US in Euros?
