I guess pizza is truly a hot commodity right now. On top of the Netflix series the author visits pizzerias in and around Naples.
How is this for a quote............"As Marino Niola, a cultural anthropologist in Naples, told me, “Pizza today has become a culinary excellence but, born as sustenance for the poor, it will always be tied to the concept of food for all.”
The article even pays a visit to Pepe in Grani, which was featured on the Netflix series
And then there is Francisco Martucci who is creating pizza desserts!
And then, to blow our minds beyond pizza I was introduced in the article to the Royal Palace of Caserta
Why didn't I know about this 1400 room palace that rivaled Versailles?
