Milan is often overlooked for being "a bit more Chicago than Italy" or seen as a gateway to the beautiful lakes region. It's all true!
But, the essence of Milan, whether you want Northern Italian cuisine, to see the Last Supper, or go see and hear an opera at La Scala, or shop at the magnificent Galleria, can be done in 36 hours. It is worth the trip.
